What We Do

Aurora Renewables is a power solutions company. We develop, build, and own distributed solar and battery storage projects — 5 to 20 MW — across the Northeast and Midwest.

Most developers hand a project off — origination to one firm, engineering to another, construction to a third. We keep it under one accountable team, start to finish, and take an ownership position in the finished asset. Before solar, we were building infrastructure. That experience shapes how we approach every project.

Solar

Distributed-scale solar on farmland, industrial parcels, commercial properties, and brownfields. 5 to 20 MW AC, sized to what the site and the grid will support.

Battery Storage

Standalone and paired battery storage on the distribution system. We treat storage as a core line of business, not an add-on to solar.

The Full Lifecycle

Site origination — We identify parcels where interconnection capacity, zoning, and landowner interest actually line up.

Engineering — Layout, civil, and electrical design built around what the site and the utility will support.

Permitting — Local approvals, environmental review, and the municipal process, run by people who have done it in these markets before.

Interconnection — Application through study through agreement. Finding capacity where others can’t.

Procurement — Equipment sourcing and contracting.

Construction — Managed by us, on our schedule and standards.

Commissioning — Energization, testing, and handover into operations.

Ownership and operations — We take an ownership position and stay involved well past commissioning.
